The Downtown Lemont Community of Commerce is envisioned as a planned effort to develop community by focusing on building the assets of the historic business district. In so doing, this initiative intends to create genuine community among its residents, businesses, and property owners. This is done by recognizing and connecting the skills, gifts, and human resources of Village Stakeholders to increase their capacity and improve their quality of life. By working together for the common good, through sharing and contributing, the economic growth which follows will be a natural and unstoppable consequence.
